Lay it All Down

My new song I just finished an hour ago talks about laying it all down at His feet.
In our lives as christians we hold on to things we might have done , pain , guilt , finaces, worries of all sorts. When we hold on to those things & don't let them go & lay them at Jesus feet or we lay them down for a short time but we go back& pick them up again. Doing this can stop or hinder our praise & worship we are offering up to Him. We can let those things weigh us down & we may not even realize it or maybe we do.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old thing have passed way ; behold , all thing have become new.

Now this scripture generally applies to some one who has just excepted Jesus Christ as their Savior & He has just made them a new creation in Him. But He is also making us a new creation daily molding & making us what He wants us to be in Him. So when we put those things down we are allowing Him to mold us in His image .

So if we take off all our weights & hinderances what ever they may be. If we lay them down at Jesus feet , walk away never to pick them back up again. Then He will renew our joy, our strength ,our hope , our everything.

Be Still

Find rest my soul in Christ alone
Know His power in quietness and trust
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with you above the storms
Father you are king over the floods
I will be still know you are God


God wants us to be still to wait on Him to take care of what we are asking Him to do for us . Really ! That does not mean to sit and do nothing we still need to be doing the work He has for us to do but still waiting for the thing He is going to bring to come to pass in our lives. We should be working and getting prepared for it to happen.

If Noah did not build the ark and gather all the food and supplies to survive , to gather all the animals as God had instructed him to do . If Noah had just sat around waiting for things to happen and did nothing we would not be here today the whole earth would have flooded , all of man kind would have been destroyed. Noah was still and waited on God to bring the flood waters but not so still that he did nothing to prepare for what God said He was going to do.


So be still wait on God to do what you know or have prayed for, but do not be so still that you do nothing and that you are not ready for what He he is going to do.

Be still know that I am God
I will be exalted among the nations
I will be exalted in the earth
Psalms 46:10




Prayer
Pray that you will be able to be still and wait on Him , Also that you will not be so still that you will not be ready for it when it happens.

Unfailing Love

( FIRST VERSE FROM LOST IN YOU )
We will always put our trust in You
For Your unfailing love towards us
And we direct all of our praise to You
It is freedom just to trust in You

Could you ever imagine that someone could love you so much that they would lay down thier life for you?

That unfailing love Jesus showed us upon the cross .
Even the thief on the cross received His unfailing love, mercy, and grace.

Nothing can take that unfailing love He has for us.


Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be moved , yet my
unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed.
Isaiah 54:10

As we are being given that unfailing love we should be showing the same unfailing love to one another .


Above all thing have intense and unfailing love
for one another , for love covers a multitude of sins [ forgives and disregards the offenses of others ]
1 Peter 4:8

Trusting the Lord

We say we trust the Lord to take care of all our needs. When thing are going well we can say without a doubt that we know He is & will take care of all our needs.
In our hearts we truly believe that we will alway trust in Him to take care of us through our trials & storms. But it seems that a lot of times when the storms do come we are wondering why God is not with us through this thing we may be going through.We fail to remember & we forget that the Bible says that He will "NEVER " leave us or forsake us.
He allows us to go through things to strengthen us so we can better serve Him for His kingdom & glory.
Jeremiah 29: 11 says........ For I know the plans I have for you , "declares the Lord , " plans to prosper you and not to harm you , plans to give you hope and a future.
I have found in my life this scriputure to be true. We may not understand why we are going through what we are or why the Lord is allowing us to go through the trials.
We have to remeber as hard as it may be that it makes no sense in our human minds but perfect sense in God's & when we look back later after He has taken us through that trial that His way made perfect sense. This is why we need to remember Proverbs 3:5 & 6.......Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding ; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.

Prayer : Lord help me to remember that you have all thing in your hands , that you are looking out for our best interests even though it may not seem like it at the time.

Waiting on the Lord......

Waiting is one of the hardest things to do . I am finding it to be so very true like right now as we speak. I am being taught what it is to have patience.
We seem to in this fast food society want everything now. Truly if you think about it the good things take time . Such as good food, a relationship takes time, good friendships take time to build. Almost anything good takes time and in the end it is really worth waiting for.

One of my favorite verses is 'Be still and know that I am GOD ". We will find 100% of the time if we wait on Him the truly good things will come to pass . We seem to want things so quick that we miss out on the good things the Lord has for us just cause we simply do not want to wait.
On my phone screen it say "Be Still"., my friends seem to get a kick out of it cause they know for me I am anything but still. But I think when it comes to waiting we can all say it is not so easy be still . I think if we keep in mind waiting can bring the best things to come. He know what is best for us and when things do not make any sense to us it makes prefect sense to Him , then in the end we will see how it really made complete sense.

Amazing Love.....

Tonight being with my kids and getting the big hugs and the out of the blue I love you makes me think of how our heavenly Father loves us.
He always has those open arms for us just like our childern do for us. It is just always like Him to us childern to remind us those small but so impotant things.Taking time to let the Lord and our loved ones know that we love them and how much they mean to us.
A childs love is so amazing just like our Fathers love . I think this why they are so important to Him and why they should be to us . Our Childern are an awesome gift we have been given so let cherish them like we should.
I thank the Lord for my two wonderful gifts He has given to me. I am so blessed to be their mom
